1xN PLC Fiber Optic Splitter, ABS Box Type

According to the principle of spectrophotometry, the spectrometer can be divided into two types: fused cone type (FBT type) and planar waveguide type (PLC type).

A method relies on perturbation to melt at high temperatures, along with stretching to both sides. Then It forms a special waveguide structure in the shape of a double cone in the hot area. Different optical splitting effects can be obtained by controlling the torsion angle and stretching fiber length, and proportion. Finally, the conical area is solidified on the quartz substrate with curing glue and then inserted into the stainless steel copper tube to form. PLC shunt is made of semiconductor technology (photolithography, corrosion, development, etc).

The optical waveguide array is located on the upper surface of the chip where the branch function is integrated. That is, to realize 1 X N equal branches on a chip. Then, the input and output multi-channel fiber arrays are coupled to both ends of the chip packaged.
