Air Blown Fiber Optical Unit, ABF

FIBERCAN Industrial has been committed to the development and production of air-blown micro cables. So far, we have produced various types of air-blown optical cables with good performance and complete composition.

ABF is an important part of this series. It is the most popular indoor optical cable product, which suits generic cabling in Europe, Japan, South Korea and other countries.

ABF is a product with a small outer diameter, lightweight, high flexibility, and moderate stiffness. Besides, it can be blown into 5.0/3.5mm microtubules.

The fiber coated with soft acrylic resin could provide excellent buffer fiber size and thermal stability. Its outer sheath is a kind of thermoplastic with low friction.

Our outer sheath surface is specially designed for excellent mechanical protection and blowing performance, compared with the traditional sheath surface.

Note:

It’s recommended to fill 2 fibers in 2-fiber units. Because 2-fiber units with 2 filled fibers are proven to be superior to 2-fiber units with 0 or 1 filled fibers, in terms of blow molding properties and fiber stripping ability.
